The Flash Season 1 Review - You Only Get Struck By Lighting Once

The main plot to this first season of the flash is that Barry gets struck by lighting and he becomes the fastest man alive. So he decides that he could help people with his new power and he became the flash. With the help of his new scientific team his stop other Meta humans from destroying the city. The main enemy in this season is another speedster from the future that has come back to kill the flash and doing so has also killed Barry mother.

The things that I like the most about the first season is the way that Barry got his powers it was something different. It was science and the natural elements that gave him the speed to overcome all the challenges that he has coming his way. But there was a sad part of the story about his mother dying that made it a little bit dark kind of like Arrow. Also I like that Barry get faster as the season goes on and he all produces more and more abilities that will help him with his upcoming battles. The team that Barry has made for himself is also a good part of the story line and that he has friends and family there with him so he is not alone. I like the fact they have comedy and despair to make the story I little more enjoyable.
The things that I disliked the most is probably the romance that did not happen between Barry and Iris and we all know that this because of Eddie I think th
ey would be great together. Also I did not like the fact they made one of Barry’s friends and the other mentor the bad guy, it gave the show betrayal and I didn’t think the show need that at all.

Overall the first season of flash is better than the first season of the Arrow and I thinks it’s because it more upbeat and not as dark. I think it’s a good watch and I have watched it like 4 times so its not just good the first time you see it.
