The main plot of the Fourth
episode of Midnight, Texas is that a beautiful but deadly supernatural creature
called the succubus rolls into town. Manfred and his neighbours all have to
work and stop the formidable create before she gets her next prey.
The things that I enjoyed most
about this episode is the relationship between Manfred and Creek still going strong,
the fact that she knows that people are after him and she still doesn’t back
out of the relationship. This might mean that their relationship will last eh
whole season, but with what’s about to come with his past getting near, things
might get a bit rocky. Also a thing that I enjoyed was the way Manfred took
control and leads his neighbours into battle and that he was the one to send
that bitch to hell. The fact that Manfred is meant to lead the whole town to victory
when the evil spirit rises is starting to become a little true. Also we learn a
bit more about Olivia and that fact that she cares for her friends very deeply.
The fact that she went out of her way to help Fiji finally tell Bobo how she
feels.
The thing that I disliked about
the episode is that Manfred is keeping secrets from us the watchers and the whole
town. I think he would get more help if he asked for it. All the nice and great
things he has done for the town I think they would give him some help.
Overall the episode was interesting
and we learnt more about the characters and what types of personalities they
all have. Also the whole dragon’s breath scene was pretty cool. I would help to
see Manfred taking charge more often and even showing us what he is really capable
of.
