Kingsman: The Secret Service Review - Your not a Tailor!!

The main plot of Kingsman: The Secret Service is that A British Secret Organisation recruits a promising but unrefined street kid into the organisation training program that makes Hell look nice. As that is happening there is a global threat that is slowly creeping up on everyone by a twisted genius with very bad view of the world.

The thing that impressed me the most about the film is that it’s different to other spy films. Instead of not having a back story about the organisation or character like James bond does. We learn the process that it takes to be a spy in England and what the main character has to other come to become a great spy. Also the fact that the film is setup in London is good but the character is from a darker part of London. Eggsy is a street kid that took a turn to the worst when his mum started dating someone who is not that nice, so he dropped out of the Marines and took a life of drugs and crime. Now you don’t see that kind of back story in James Bond. There is a far bit of humour in the film that makes it better I think. It gives the film a more light hearted approach and that it doesn’t all need to be dark to make a great spy film. I also like the surprise that we all get when we find out that Arthur is working will the Bad guy and that Eggsy is the only one who can stop them all. I notice that all of the spies have code names taken from great knights of Legends, for example Arthur is the head of the Kingsmen Organisation and he is meant to portray King Arthur. The fight scene that happens in the church is very graphic and violent, showing us the pure grit that makes it a spy film and at the same time showing that it can hit the fan hard. This scene is the best in the whole film its shows us a lot about the Organisation and what they can do with just one person. The fact that Harry Heart was able to take out like 50 people with just pure rage and one gun is amazing. Also I love the ending scene of the movie the way Eggsy copy what he saw when he first meet Harry made me wonder if he beat everyone in that room.

The thing that I dislike most about the film is that they keep hinting to us that it’s not a James Bond movie. I think that we all know that because of the title. I don’t like the fact noting happen between Eggsy and Roxy, they are teasing us all throughout the movie and i just want something to happen between them.

Overall the movie was one of the best spy films I have seen and I’ve watched all the bond films. It gave me something real and told me that it does not matter who you are or what you you can achieve whatever you want to, even same the world once or twice. What I am hoping to see in the next film is maybe relationship development Eggsy and Roxy, I think that would make a great Partnership.

Make sure to comment you favourite moment of the Movie.
